When stripping wires, use a dedicated wire stripper to avoid damaging the conductor core. When passing wires through metal holes, wrap the hole edges with insulating tape to prevent the wire sheath from being cut and causing a short circuit. For models with an integrated center console screen, carefully pry open the center console panel, locate the AV-IN interface, insert the video cable, and ensure the plug is fully engaged to prevent signal interruption while driving.

Gently pull on each wire connection to confirm they are secure, and check that the waterproof tape is wrapped tightly.
